West Genesee Street Dig Once Project

Work will include full depth reconstruction of the road including new pavement, new sidewalks, curb installations, traffic and pedestrian signal upgrades, replacement of water mains and lead water services, rehabilitation of sewer infrastructure, and landscaping improvements.

The Former Syracuse Developmental Center campus redevelopment is a diverse development project that will feature multiple buildings accommodating a mix of uses.

Hiawatha Lake Wall Reconstruction - Onondaga Park

This project involves reconstructing and repointing the deteriorating stone retaining wall in Onondaga Park, rebuilding the channel and sidewalk bridge adjacent to the bathhouse, and reconstructing the ramp area.

Kirk Park Kayak/Canoe Launch Project

The project will provide a safe entry and exit point for kayaks and canoes in Kirk Park on Onondaga Creek.

Coldbrook Sediment Removal Project

The project goal is to enhance the flow capacity of the stone-lined channel to its intended design and mitigate minor flooding of properties situated along the channel.

Pedestrian Safety Action Plan Phase 2

This project will make improvements to pedestrian facilities at approximately 50 locations throughout the City of Syracuse at signalized intersections. This effort is part of the New York State Pedestrian Safety Action Plan (PSAP).

Creekwalk Extension Project Phase 3

The project will add 3 miles of pedestrian/bicycle trail from W. Colvin St. to Dorwin Ave. along the Onondaga Creek corridor. The trail will add significant recreational opportunities to the Southside, connect neighborhoods, and promote access to Onondaga Creek.
