This project involves reconstructing and repointing the deteriorating stone retaining wall in Onondaga Park, rebuilding the channel and sidewalk bridge adjacent to the bathhouse, and reconstructing the ramp area. The primary objective is to safeguard and maintain the historical retaining wall, along with the channel, sidewalk bridge, and ramp area at Hiawatha Lake in Onondaga Park. Through reconstructing and repointing the deteriorating stone retaining wall, repairing the sidewalk bridge and channel, and reconstructing the ramp area, the project endeavors to secure the long-term preservation of these historical features. Ultimately, the goal is to enrich the cultural significance of Onondaga Park, ensuring that future generations can appreciate its historical importance.
