The City of Syracuse Department of Public Works (DPW) informs residents that trash and recycling collection services will be delayed for Friday pickup due to the recent snow event impacting the area.
Residents are encouraged to keep their trash and recycling out and be patient as crews work to empty remaining carts. Crews anticipate pickup at remaining households Sunday, January 5.
Residents are encouraged to monitor the social media channels @SYRCityline for further updates on rescheduled pickups.
