City of Syracuse to Close Offices for Christmas and New Years Holiday

City of Syracuse administrative offices will be closed for the Christmas holiday on Wednesday, Dec 25 and for the New Years holiday on Wednesday, Jan 1. Trash and recycling pickup will be delayed by one day for the remainder of the week both the week of Dec 25 and Jan 1.

The yard waste drop-off site at the Department of Public Works, located at 1200 Canal St. Ext., will be closed to the public on Wednesday, Dec 25 and Wednesday, Jan 1. Emergency public works services can be reported to 315-448-8360. Cityline offices will be closed to calls, but residents can still submit service requests to Cityline via the SYRCityline app or online at syr.gov/cityline. 

Metered parking in the city will be free on Wednesday, Dec 25 and Wednesday, Jan 1.
