Street Closures for 2024 Irish Festival

The City of Syracuse wishes to inform residents and visitors of temporary street closures for the Irish Festival in Clinton Square on Friday, September 6 and Saturday, September 7. The closures are necessary to facilitate event setup, presentation, and breakdown.

The following streets will be closed for the festival from 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, September 5 through 12:00 p.m. Sunday, September 8:

  • Clinton Street, from Genesee Street to Washington Street
  • Erie Boulevard West, from Clinton Street to Franklin Street
  • West Water Street, from Clinton Street to Franklin Street, will become a two-way with no parking along the north curb line.

Drivers may experience delays and are advised to use alternate routes if possible.
