Road reconstruction project will improve traffic flow and bolster pedestrian access through Downtown and Southside
Mayor Walsh announced a road reconstruction project will begin on Monday, April 3 to convert Clinton Steet from one-way to two-way traffic between West Jefferson and West Taylor Streets.
The project will include pavement restoration in addition to new bike lanes and curbside parking. Work is expected to be complete in six weeks. Detours will be in place to re-route southbound traffic on Clinton Street while work is being done. Actual project start dates and timeframes are contingent on favorable weather.
