Shooting with Injuries on West Newell Street

On Monday, September 30th, around 8:58 p.m., Syracuse Police Officers responded to the 100 block of West Calthrop Avenue for a report of a shooting with injuries. When Officers arrived on scene, they found a male in his 20's suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to his leg. The victim was transported to Upstate University Hospital, and his injuries are considered non life-threatening. After a preliminary investigation, it was determined that this incident took place in the 600 block of West Newell Street.
