Stabbing with Injuries on East Fayette Street

On Sunday, the 24
th
day of September, 2023, at around 3:30 p.m., uniformed members of the Syracuse Police Department responded to 2003 East Fayette Street in regard to a reported stabbing. At around the same time the units were responding to Fayette Street, staff at University Hospital contacted 911 and reported the arrival of a walk-in stabbing victim to the emergency room.
Upon arrival at the emergency room, the police officers located a 27-year-old female victim who was found to have been stabbed multiple times in the torso. Initially the victim was listed in critical condition, however, after medical intervention, the victim was listed in stable condition.
The incident location was learned to be 2003 East Fayette Street.
