Homicide on Martin Luther King West

On Tuesday, April 18
th
2023, at around 11:44 a.m., several uniformed members of the Syracuse Police Department responded to the 200 block of Martin Luther King West for a reported shooting with injuries. Upon arrival, the officers located a 22-year-old male victim, Nykeem Stallworth, of Syracuse
,
at 245 Martin Luther King West. Stallworth had been shot multiple times in the upper torso and was subsequently pronounced dead.
The investigation is active and ongoing, and anyone with information is strongly encouraged to call the Syracuse Police Department Criminal Investigations Division at (315) 442-5222.
