Shooting with Injuries on North Salina Street

On Sunday, August 13
th,
2023, at around 3:48 a.m. members of the Syracuse Police Department responded to 935 North Salina Street in response to multiple ShotSpotter activations. Upon arrival, the units located several spent shell casings near the curb line and in the parking spots directly in front of the establishment at 935 North Salina Street.
While officers were investigating the shots fired call, SUNY Upstate Police advised that they had drop off shooting victims who arrived at University Hospital by personal vehicle. Officers responded to University Hospital where they encountered a total of three shooting victims who were being treated for their injuries. The ages of, and injuries to these victims are as follows:
- 15-year-old male (graze wound hip)
- 16-year-old male (gunshot wound to right arm)
- 16-year-old male (gunshot wound to left arm)
All of the victims are listed in stable condition and all of the wounds are considered to be non-life-threatening.
