City of Syracuse Code Enforcement Declares Skyline Apartments Unfit; Tenants Currently Without Hot Water

Statement by Greg Loh, Chief Policy Officer on Skyline Apartments Unfit Declaration on February 2.

The City of Syracuse Division of Code Enforcement has been in communication with Green National since Tuesday to ensure restoration of hot water service at Skyline Apartment. Green National has informed the City that it has secured a licensed contractor for repairs. Code Enforcement is in regular contact with Green National and the contractor to ensure repairs are made. The City has issued an unfit declaration and stop rent order for the property which will be in place until hot water is restored.
