Syracuse Mayor Ben Walsh announced a road reconstruction project beginning on Milton Avenue on Tipperary Hill. Crews will mill (remove the top layer of existing pavement) and pave Milton Avenue from Tompkins Street to West Genesee Street beginning Tuesday, Nov. 1.
The road will remain open to through traffic with lane reductions while work is being done. Work is expected to take place from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. each day. Actual project start dates and timeframes are contingent on favorable weather.
