The City of Syracuse Department of Water is installing a new water main pipe and pump station on East Brighton Avenue from Rock Cut Road to Intrepid Lane near Brighton Towers on the Southside. Work will begin Monday, May 9 and is expected to continue until fall.
Southbound traffic on East Brighton Avenue from Rock Cut Road to Intrepid Lane will be reduced to one lane beginning May 9. Once work is completed on the southbound portion of East Brighton Avenue, northbound traffic will be reduced to one lane for the reminder of the project.
