The Municipal Violations Bureau (MVB) handles the adjudication of tickets issued by the City of Syracuse.
The MVB includes the BAA, which handles the adjudication of Notice of Violation Tickets issued by the Department of Code Enforcement for non-compliant property code violations; the Parking Violation Bureau which handles adjudication of parking tickets issued by the Syracuse Police Department for parking violations; and health and sanitation tickets issued by the Department of Public Works for illegal set out and cart violations.
