NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS FOR BID #25-189
HANOVER SQUARE FOUNTAIN REHABILITATION PROJECT

Sealed proposals will be received at Division of Purchase of the City of Syracuse, New York, 213 City Hall, 233 E Washington St, Syracuse, New York, 13202, on TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 18, 2025 for the HANOVER SQUARE FOUNTAIN REHABILITATION PROJECT, Bid #25-189, until 2:30 p.m. On the same day and immediately thereafter, the sealed proposals will be opened and publicly read by the Director of the Office of Management & Budget, Division of Purchase of the City of Syracuse, New York.

Sets of plans and specifications for the work under this contract shall only be obtained from the Director of the Office of Management & Budget, Division of Purchase upon deposit of a new check or money order in the amount of $75.00, payable to the Commissioner of Finance of the City of Syracuse. Checks transferred from other jobs will not be accepted.

To have bid documents mailed, you must provide your Fed Ex account number. Your account will be billed directly for the mailing.

Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond, in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total maximum bid price (combination of base bid or alternate bid plus add-on items) for the contract in the form and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders.

Pre-bid Conference: The City of Syracuse has scheduled a pre-bid conference in order to review all of the specific requirements of this contract. Attendance at the pre-bid is recommended but is optional. The pre-bid conference is scheduled for THURSDAY, JANUARY 23rd, 2025 AT 10:00 AM to be held at the ENGINEERING CONFERENCE RM 405 CITY HALL 233 E WASHINGTON ST, SYRACUSE NY 13202.
