This RFP #25-043 consists of providing Program Management Services, as described [within the RFP document], for Phase 3 – up to ten school facilities, at a total project budget not-to-exceed four hundred million dollars ($400,000,000) of which approximately $325 Million of the Program budget is projected to be construction costs as defined by SED.
In November of 2021, the [above-referenced (see RFP document)] legislation was amended (S05603) to authorize a third phase of school construction projects at a cost not to exceed $300 million and listed 10 buildings that could be reconstructed under this legislation. The buildings are: Corcoran High, Delaware Primary, Henninger High, Lincoln Middle, Nottingham High, Roberts PreK-8, Seymour Elementary, STEM at Blodgett, Syracuse Latin and Webster Elementary. In April of 2023 an amendment (S06209) was introduced to amend the legislation to increase the not to exceed cost to $400 million.
The JSCB will solicit proposals from firms for Construction Management Services under a separate solicitation. The JSCB may elect to use a single construction management firm or multiple firms. The selected Program Manager will be eligible to submit proposals for the Construction Management RFP when they are issued.
