Reserve an Athletic Field

We have a variety of athletic fields available to reserve.

How much does it cost?

  • Grass Fields

     City and Non-City Residents: $50 application fee, plus $15/hour.

  • Grass Fields with lights

     City and Non-City Residents: $50 application fee, plus $60/hour.

  • Outdoor Turf (Sunnycrest & Valley)

     City Residents: $50 application fee, plus $50/hour ($25/hour more for lights).

     Non-City Residents: $50 application fee, plus $75/hour ($25/hour more for lights).

  • Burnet Turf

     Non-Profit Groups: $50 application fee, plus $75 1st hour. $40/hour after.

     For Profit Groups: $50 application fee, plus $150 1st hour. $75/hour after.

Step 1.Review the requirements.

  • Athletic field permittees must provide a certificate of liability insurance. The City of Syracuse MUST be listed as additionally insured. The insurance coverage must include a minimum limit of $1,000,000 per incident as well as the declaration page.
  • Rental request form must be submitted 30 days in advance with exact dates and times. Blanket permits will not be accepted.
  • Athletic fields have an application fee, plus an hourly fee for each field.

Step 2.Let us know which field you are interested in.

Complete the form below. Provide us with the event type, preferred date, and time for the field you are interested in. We will contact you within 3 to 5 business days by phone or email to discuss your request ( fees, additional paperwork etc.)

Step 3.Confirm reservation with payment.

Once rental details are confirmed, an updated invoice will be emailed to you with a payment link. Once payment has been processed, a permit will be emailed.

Step 4.Arrive to your reserved field on reserved dates.

Bring a copy of your permit with you on the reserved date(s) for proof of rental.
