The City of Syracuse Department of Parks & Recreation is now accepting new swimwear for children who do not have the appropriate clothing to participate in swimming and water activities. Neighbors can donate swimsuits, swim trunks, and burkinis for all genders, sizes, and ages from Memorial Day through Labor Day.
The Department is also accepting gently used swimwear. Thanks to a partnering with the YMCA of Central New York, we can wash and sanitize donations before distribution. For more information, call the main parks line at 315.473.4330 or email the City at syracuseparks@syr.gov.
