Dispute a Parking Ticket

Step 1.Have your ticket number

Include both numbers and letters. Tickets may start with "SH" or end in "D".

Step 2.Bring your parking ticket hearing request form 

Hearing Request Forms are available below or at the Parking Violations Bureau:

To City Hall between 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday-Friday

               Parking Violations Bureau, Room113
               Syracuse, New York 13202

Step 1.Bring your parking ticket hearing request form 

Form must be completed in full, including signed/dated.

Step 2.Put your ticket number on the hearing request form

Include both numbers and letters. Tickets may start with "SH" or end in "D".

Step 3.Include a copy of your ticket

Step 4.Include your defense and attach any supporting documentation or proof you believe will assist your case

For Example: photographs, witness statements, copy of registration, receipts, etc. 

Step 5.To the Drop Box on Market Street side of City Hall
