PUBLIC NOTICE: Department of Neighborhood and Business Development 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN

The City of Syracuse Department of Neighborhood and Business Development (NBD) is seeking proposals for the use of Year 51 Federal Block Grant Funds received from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), including:

Applications are due to Neighborhood and Business Development by 2 p.m. on October 25, 2024. Each program year, NBD uses these funds to support agencies that help residents and families in Syracuse through neighborhood revitalization efforts, economic development, and improving community facilities and services. The program year runs from May 1, 2025 – April 30, 2026. Additional program information and requirements to apply can be found for each grant linked above.

NBD Staff will be available to meet with applicants by appointment September 30 to October 4 for one-on-one sessions via Microsoft Teams. These sessions are designed to answer any questions and address concerns prior to submitting a completed application. Please use the following emails to schedule for each grant:
