EMS Division

The EMS Division is responsible for EMS training, equipping, and maintaining the needed certifications for the Department and our 370 members.

Our EMS Division delivers an Emergency Medical Technician course for all recruit firefighters during the first few weeks of the Fire Academy. During the year they offer multiple Emergency Medical Technician or EMT, classes for members of the Fire Department and the public. They ensure advanced providers, AEMTs and Paramedics, must complete additional online training during the year and off-site in person training including ACLS and PALS.

We maintain a fleet of five ALS First Response vehicles and two ALS ambulances. The rest of our Engines, Minis, Trucks, and the Rescue are equipped at the BLS level.
