Capital Improvement Program
A capital improvement plan (CIP) is a dynamic community planning and fiscal management tool used to plan where, when, and how the City will finance capital improvements over several years. It is important that governments not wait until an investment is retired to begin to consider how to replace it or improve it. The CIP is a working document and is reviewed and updated annually to reflect the City's changing needs, priorities, and funding resources. It is a plan that shows the strategic vision and long-term objectives of any administration.
