Syracuse Mayor Sharon F. Owens is extending the public commenting period on the City’s draft inaugural Climate Action Plan. The extension will allow additional time for residents and community stakeholders to provide input and comments on the plan.

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The City of Syracuse Department of Neighborhood and Business Development is seeking proposals for the use of its Opioid Settlement Relief funds awarded through the New York State Office of Addiction Services and Supports. Funds are available to agencies who work with individuals suffering from opioid abuse in the City of Syracuse and provide prevention and treatment strategies.
The City of Syracuse Department of Neighborhood & Business Development has released its Action Plan for Program Year 52 (2026-27) Federal Block Grant funding from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). The draft plan is pending final approval by the Syracuse Common Council.
